I acknowledge the employee’s need to understand how people differ. I recruit and help select the brightest and best person to fit a particular job within the organization based on a job competencies requirement, the job profile and the job description.

Integrity

Interacts with others honestly, thereby building relationships based on trust.  I always respect the confidentiality entrusted.  I follow through on commitments while acting on high professional, moral and ethical standards while supporting the corporate goals, values and decisions. 

Respect

I exercise patience and sensitivity in dealing with the concerns and problems of others.  I am open-minded, forthright, and fair in my interactions with internal and external customers.  I honour the organization's chain of command and acknowledge the successes and the contribution of others.  I follow-up with employees to ensure the service provided exceeded their expectations and was provided in a timely manner.

Customer Focus

I anticipate, understand, and respond in a timely and effective manner to the needs of our customers.  I welcome customer feedback and rely on this to help identify improvements in myself and the functional areas of Human Resources.  I focus heavily on "internal" customer service (our associates), because we know that to serve our external customers, we must ensure our employees feel valued.

Effective communication is the foundation of our personal and business relationships.  I actively seek to understand the perspectives of others by listening with an open mind and communicating honestly, with appropriate discretion.

I produce results by completing projects - on time, at or under budget.  I plan my work activities to achieve both corporate and assigned goals.  All work is completed at a level that both meets and exceeds job standards and expectations.  I continuously look for ways to be more productive while being cost effective

I take all steps to keep myself knowledgeable and skilled on my job.  I hold myself and others accountable for actions and results.  I take pride in my work and demonstrate willingness to take command and initiative when appropriate.

Innovation and Flexibility

I continue to look for for better ways to do my job that will reduce time on task and costs.  My willingness to learn demonstrates my commitment to my position.  I remain open to new ideas and approaches from my direct reports, management, consultants and other employees.  I am willing to take reasonable risks and will monitor and provide feedback to ensure the success is recorded.  As a creative thinker I am able to look outside the box to the future not just the present.

Teamwork and Collaboration

My ability to listen and understand the viewpoint of others makes me a valuable team member.  My willingness to cooperate with others and share resources builds trust in me as a team member.  I can be trusted to fulfill my role and responsibilities and be there to support other team members.  Finding a resolution to a problem before it escalates demonstrates l am able to resolve differences and disagreements.  I cooperate and collaborate. with everyone.  I am enthusiastic in conducting my day-to-day duties and mindful of the needs of one another and our customers.  I recognize change as a constant and that our ability to quickly adapt to it will determine the success of employment.
